The Wood Wharf masterplan seeks to develop an integrated, sustainable community and will include new facilities to benefit existing communities on the Isle of Dogs as well as people who move into the new homes.
New community facilities at
Wood Wharf could include:

- Nursery/crèche provision
- A weekend street market
- A weekend street market
- A prayer room
