Wood Wharf is almost completely surrounded by water, and has a long heritage based on its relationship to the docks. This has been the starting point for the proposals to regenerate the site.

Wood Wharf’s waterside frontage is a unique asset which will define the site’s redevelopment. The masterplan includes the creation of a world-class waterfront and a new canal linking Blackwall Basin
and South Dock and creating a visual focus for the
new development.
